Forged in the heart of their nation’s Capital, SACRICIDE was formed in 2018 out of a desire for the founding members to make a return to their metal roots.
The four-piece band takes inspiration from all corners and eras of extreme metal—from the punishing riffs and breakdowns of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal to the twisting song structures and groove of progressive metal—all while delivering the soaring leads and ear-catching melodies from the early Gothenburg melodic death metal scene.
Thematically the band’s focus is on exploring humanity’s lasting impact on the Earth, drawing from literature and history to weave together a tapestry of stories that, collectively, world build a dystopia of hope, loss, and despair.
With a debut album on the horizon, Sacricide is ready to conquer the metal scene.
